Dali Museum and James Museum

A few months ago, I flew down to Florida to deal with the sale of our condo (successful) in Orlando.  I also took the opportunity to drive down to St. Petersburg to see Henry and Catherine Nardi, our dear friends from my Asian Development Bank days back in the 70's.

One day, Henry took me to the Dali Museum (above) and the James Museum of the American Indian & Western Painting (below).

In the evening, we returned with Catherine to the James Museum for a cocktail party and to see an extraordinary collection of the photographs of Edward Curtis.

I took over 250 photos but I selected just a few here to show you some of the truly magnificent paintings, sculptures and photographs on display.

If you ever find yourself in St. Petersburg, you MUST visit both these museums.  They are extraordinary!
