Thanksgiving Turkey

We spent Thanksgiving up in Winchester with Patricia and Adrian and Veronica and Max.  Of course, you have to have turkey at Thanksgiving and we did.  Adrian cooked it on his slow-burn Big Egg BBQ and it came out perfectly--moist, hints of smoke and flavors rustic.

Click on "Read more” below to see some more Thanksgiving photos.

What was amusing (weird?) was that while he was cooking it, a real wild turkey came wandering into the garden and checked out what Adrian was doing!!

Here are a few photos of our Thanksgiving:

Adrian’s amazing turkey--yum!

Regee’s Sweet Potato Marshmallow dish--heaven

Patricia’s wild brown rice sausage stuffing and Regee’s hazel nut butter brussels sprouts, haricot verts casserole with mushroom sauce and buttery mashed potatoes.

A slice of Regee’s apple pie (to die for)

Regee’s pumpkin pie (an after death experience!)

And, below, those involved in the food fight!!
