A Few Days in New York

We went up to New York for the 4th of July holiday and met up with Adrian, Patricia, Veronica and Max.  We stayed at Erik and Jose's condo and they will be back from Chicago today (July 5).  Here are a few photos of our time there.

The best seat in the house!

And talking of best seats, Jose managed to get us house seats to go see Dear Evan Hansen which swept up six Oscars just a couple of weeks ago.  It was an amazing show.  Thanks a million, Jose.

Times Square at midnight--you could hardly move for all the people.
This city definitely does not sleep.

Veronica with her "Lines of Wisdom" oil painting (she named it)

Lunch at Westville Hudson Restaurant just opposite CMA

This is New York and you have to have bagels which come in a baker's dozen from
a little bagel place on 2nd Avenue

Gramercy Park--but you have to have a key to get in!

They spotted a LEGO store nearby the condo!

The cheese section at the amazing EATALY complex where you can
buy (and eat) anything Italian

Fireworks over New York.  Max had the best view!
