Paul's Real Life Drama

Have a look at Paul's latest "Story District" performance which took place when I was in Manila.  I wish I could have been there--but then, that's why we have YouTube!

This "incident" really happened to Paul many moons ago in his Brooklyn days when he had his identity stolen.  He originally wrote a story about it as part of his "Tales from the North," a series about the weird and wonderful things that happened to him during his ten years in Brooklyn as an actor.

He had to distill that four page story down to 7 minutes for the Story District's latest subject of the month: "Stories about draaaaaaaammma".

His wild experience with Detective Luffman and crew down at the police precinct was surreal but, more importantly, a reflection on what lies at the heart of being an "actor," whether on the stage or in real life.

After all, didn't someone famous once say: "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players...."

Enjoy.

  1. Dad. This is a wonderful piece about the story. Thank you! But note: no kiddies should watch this, unless you want them to grow up really fast!
