Blood Moon: Total Eclipse



I heard on the radio yesterday that there would be a total eclipse of the moon this morning "at about 6 a.m. in the Eastern sky".  Well, the eclipse was actually about 6.18 a.m. on Greenway Boulevard and happened to be due West of us.  By the time I staggered out of the house at 6.00AM, Mr. Moon looked like this.


By about 6.10AM he was looking a little smaller.


And at 6.18AM I think he had reached total eclipse and was looking distinctly bloody.  Unfortunately, at this point he was about to hit the tree line--and a few moments later disappeared from sight.
